世界衛生組織（WHO）於2024年7月31日發布《Disease Outbreak News》報告，強調具抗藥性的**高毒力克雷伯氏肺炎桿菌（hvKp）**菌株之全球疫情狀況。這些 hvKp 菌株與健康個體中的嚴重社區感染（如肝膿瘍、腦膜炎與眼內炎）密切相關，引起高度關注。報告指出，高毒力菌株對多種抗生素具抗藥性，使治療變得更加困難，並對公共衛生構成重大挑戰。其中，K1與K2莢膜血清型被公認為高度侵襲性，常見於社區型肝膿瘍與肺炎感染案例。傳統上，K. pneumoniae 的血清分型主要透過聚合酶鏈反應（PCR）與血清抗體凝集試驗進行。本公司所推出的檢測卡匣為膠體金免疫層析試紙條，提供更簡便、快速的檢測方式，可同時鑑別K1與K2血清型。此檢測套組已取得台灣衛福部食品藥物管理署（TFDA）核發之販售許可證（衛部醫器製壹字第010180號），並已應用於台灣醫學中心。
